Greener Cleaners for your home

Method LogoWith concerns about toxicity and polution, I sometimes wonder if we’d be better of with dirt and grime in our homes. I don’t think every chemical is bad but as a general rule, I think the less chemicals the better. That’s where Method cleaning products come in.

Method looks at the world “through bright green colored glasses”. Their ingredients come from “plants, not chemical plants” and are non-toxic and biodegradable. Their products include cleaners for hands, laundry, specialty surfaces (tile, bathroom, etc.) and an all-purpose cleaner. Unlike many green products that you have to special order, Method products are carried by Target so they’re much easier to get and you don’t pay shipping to get a bottle of glass cleaner.

We’ve used method products for months and I’ve found them as effective as any other cleaner. There is no unpleasant chemical smell and knowing we have fewer chemicals around the babies means one less thing to worry about.
